New Project-Series Pitch

Great new project to start the year! I intend on creating a series pitch targeted towards a young adult/Adult generation. My plot for the series will be based around a family of stone age/prehistoric characters which travel through time into a modern day society. Totally clueless, and bewildered in their new surroundings they must learn to adapt in an unfamiliar world in order to survive. They must deal with everyday scenarios, such as going to work/school etc. The humour I want to create is something in comparison to the 'Simpsons', which is not to crude but the audience can relate with. I will try and incorporate in my designs, issues that people have to deal with in everyday life.
